A Happy Birthday Weekend

It was papa's birthday this past weekend so we decided to celebrate! We worked on making him a sign, which the babe tried to eat, more than he tried to hold it. The day before his birthday we made and ate lasagna, opened presents wrapped in grocery bags (we're green or too excited to wrap them) and then we had mudpie.
This was his first birthday as a papa and he thought it'd be funny to stand in front of the "pregnancy wall", with a pregnancy pose. The photo below was from a couple weeks before Hayes arrived- I think papa did a pretty good impersonation.
The next day we did a little weekend walk to Cole coffee and La Farine for a breakfast snack.
We walked home and then a little later walked back to a favorite lunch spot of papa's. The only photo I have from lunch is the little mister attempting to eat his way through a glass with his gums.  On the way home I was able to capture a little Giant's pride.
Hayes finally made it to his first Giants' game and he even wore a Lincecum t-shirt. Guess who was pitching?
One more birthday surprise in his Cracker Jacks.
Special "thank you" to our friend Julia for making us this awesome knit hat.
Kicking up our Converse and moccasins at the game. What says relaxation more than kicking up your feet and eating nachos?
Another attempt at a family shot. Mr Hayes has his poker face on. One day we are all going to smile at the same time and be looking at the camera when it happens.
On Sunday we stopped at our favorite neighborhood coffee spot and then headed to Sacramento to celebrate little Lulu's birthday. It was so nice to spend time with our friend's in their neck-of-the-woods.
P.S Super fancy cake Jenny and delicious too!  Hayes had a great time dipping his little mermaid tail (baby feet) in the water.
We stopped at Home Depot on the way home to pick-up some supplies for our tomato garden. Hayes decided to take is first ride on papa's shoulders and pull papa's hair out at the same time. We came home to our pups and by the look of it, Jake celebrated just as much as we did this weekend. A good time was had by all. That's a wrap!
