We are getting excited around here, preparing for our big road trip. When we started to think about taking a family vacation, now that there are three of us, I immediately thought...ROAD TRIP!!
Matt, in his mind, was somewhere in Hawaii, lying on a beach and soaking up the sun. Once he got over the visions of pineapple and surfing we started to get serious. The idea of traveling somewhere we hadn't been before was very appealing to both of us and so the research began. Since Hayes is still pretty content to ride in the car and isn't mobile, we gave more thought to the idea of a road trip. At first we were going to rent an RV and make our way from California to the southeast, but for several reasons those plans changed. Today we're off to begin this adventure-13 cities in 25 days via planes, trains and one automobile. Wish us luck!
